This is an interesting one, and it got me thinking when I first saw it.
You’ve probably heard the quote, “Think and act like the person you want to become.”
If you start acting like the person you want to become, you will eventually end up as that person.
It may be confusing at first, but it makes a lot of sense.
Let’s say you want to become someone who’s fit and disciplined.
He’s already in the gym every day. He eats clean. He wakes up early, plans his day, and executes. Your future self…
Imagine if you just started living as that person—your future self.
What if you took his habits and implemented them into your life? Instead of eating garbage, you start taking care of what you eat. You want a strong physique, so you implement his habit of working out every day.
You get the point.
You take his habits and stick with them. It’s only a matter of time before you become that person.
Of course, to become that person, you need to build discipline, consistency, and patience. But you already know that.
